Jill's Journey to Beat Lung Cancer
Please join me in supporting our local cancer reasearch & treatment center/team. I have received wonderful care there since early 2017, as did my Mother when she successfully battled breast cancer. Only 13 months after being diagnosed with Invasive Mucinous Adenocarcinoma (IMA), a rare form of Stage IV Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC), I am blessed to be in remission. All of my treatment was completed locally - two lung surgeries, 4 adjuvant chemo treatments and then Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT). My hope is to stay in remission as long as I can, but I also know that the research and treatment advancements will play a critical role in my Journey, as will FAITH, HOPE and LOVE. Thank you for helping me and others with raising money for research & treatments.
We are dedicated to our family, friends, and community who have been touched by cancer. We fight for those who have cancer. We remember those who have lost the battle with cancer. We look forward to a future without cancer.
