Team "Priority 3"
In 2012, I lost my father, Douglas Piehler, to stage 4 lung cancer. Our family worked with the Lafayette Cancer Center in Brewer for several months. During that time, the staff were overwhelmingly positive and welcoming. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
This year, I have accepted the Challenge to raise money for local cancer research. The money I raise stays right here in Maine for cancer research, and to help cancer patients and survivors.
The "paddle" event is brand new this year. Allie and I will be kayaking together on Saturday 9/15/18 and can't wait! We've chosen "Priority 3" as our team name, as my father named his boats Priority 1 and Priority 2 when we were growing up. We thought it was a fitting tribute. :)
I registered our team a little late in the game this year, but if you're interested in joining our team for next year, we'd love to have you!
Thank you so much for donating; every little bit helps!
