Welcome to D'arcy's Page
This is very personal for me. In December of 2016 I was diagnosed with breast cancer but I was not alone. Each year, more than 8,000 Mainers are diagnosed with cancer. That is a lot of people. A lot of mothers and fathers and children and grandparents sharing far too much pain, suffering, and mental anguish. This needs to stop. It needs to stop hurting and killing our family members, our friends, and our neighbors and community members. And unfortunately, it is not going to stop by itself.
To stop cancer we need to fund further cancer research. Plain and simple. Complaining about it won't end it. Wearing ribbons won't end it. We've got to fund the research to find a cure.
That's why I'm riding in this event and why I hope you will help me. Please consider donating whatever you can. No amount is too small when we all pitch in.
Thank you very much to all of my friends and family who gave me such tremendous support over the last year as I went through surgery after surgery. Your support then, and now, are appreciated more than you will ever know.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for visiting my EMMC Champion the Cure Challenge page. Please help me with this important task by donating today.
